Setup guide

Choose your platform and follow the steps to connect to matrix.wyer.io.

Your homeserver address: matrix.wyer.io — required during app setup

Element Web — no download required
  1. 1 Open chat.wyer.io in your browser.
  2. 2 Click Sign in and enter your username and password.
  3. 3 If asked for a homeserver, enter matrix.wyer.io.

Element X — recommended
  1. 1 Download Element X from the App Store.
  2. 2 Open the app and tap Sign in.
  3. 3 Tap Change server and enter matrix.wyer.io, then confirm.
  4. 4 Enter your username and password to sign in.

  1. 1 Download Element X from Google Play.
  2. 2 Open the app and tap Sign in.
  3. 3 Tap Change server and enter matrix.wyer.io, then confirm.

  1. 1 Download and install Element Desktop for Windows.
  2. 2 On the welcome screen click Sign in, then Edit next to the server name.
  3. 3 Enter matrix.wyer.io as the homeserver and click Continue.
  4. 4 Enter your username and password to sign in.

  1. 1 Download the Element Desktop .dmg for Mac and drag it to Applications.
  2. 2 On the welcome screen click Sign in, then Edit next to the server name.
  3. 3 Enter matrix.wyer.io as the homeserver and click Continue.
  4. 4 Enter your username and password to sign in.
